Great Thanks to Girl Scout Troop #61448

My Junior Girl Scouts troop had such a wonderful experience recording their three children's books at Books Aloud last Thursday. The girls worked very hard to prepare for their recording including practicing to read aloud their selected books for the past four months. It was so nice to see all their hard work and dedication paid off when they were able to record their books successfully!

Thank you for allowing my troop to partner with your organization for their Bronze Award Project. By doing so, the girls have earned their Bronze Award, which is the highest award a Junior Girl Scout can earn. We hope children can enjoy their recordings and donated books for many years to come. It's also our hope that the monetary donation from our cookie sales earnings will be utilized to help literacy as well.

My troop is from Country Lane Elementary School in San Jose and is comprised of ten 5th grade girls. Attached are some photos from our visit last Thursday.

Best regards, Annie Black, Troop Leader, Girl Scouts Troop #61448
